What We Do

Be a part of the change! Each year, 8 millions of tonnes of plastic waste threaten our ocean wildlife, but together we can make a difference. Located in Mandurah Western Australia, our community group is committed to keeping our waterways clean whilst supporting the Tangaroa Blue Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI). Our free clean-up events, which last only two hours, invite participants of all ages to connect with nature and contribute to a healthier environment. Join us and help create a positive impact!

Ackowledgement of Country

We are based in Mandjoogoordap (what we know now as Mandurah), which translates to 'meeting place of the heart'.

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Bindjareb people, of the Noongar Nation, who are the Traditional Owners and First Peoples of this land. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge the continuing contribution they make to this place.

The Aboriginal community of Mandjoogoordap are custodians of the land which centres on our waterways – the Bilya (the rivers), the Darbal (the estuary), the Wardan (the ocean) – and the coastal plains.
